5 Things My Dad Taught Me About Food
1. For the love of bread - Doesn't matter what's for dinner there has to be a basket of bread on the table, you're not finished with your plate until you wipe it clean with a slice of bread (before you know it you've had a whole loaf and you wonder why you're struggling to loose weight - thanks dad!)
2. What's yours is yours & what's his is yours - You may have already had a packet of crips to yourself but when you go to nick a few more of dad's he never complains. There's no other man that shares food with you like he does.
3. BBQ full of testosterone - There's something about BBQ's which make dads feel like the next Gordan Ramsey, even though mum's been slaving away in the kitchen all day preparing the food, it's the BBQ cremation which really matters
4. Mum's best food critic - When you were younger if there was a dinner you didnt like you still had to eat it as mum wouldn't make anything else, if dad said he didnt like it then you'll never see it served again!
5. Be a wife that can cook - the way to mans heart is through his stomach. Looks fade but hunger doesn't!
Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful dad's out there!
