-
Plenty of workspace - You can never have enough room when it comes to cooking. Clear your kitchen worktops so you have a clean and empty work space.
-
Set of good pans- You dont have to buy mega expensive pans but I have found that cheap ones just dont cut it, they can burn your food or cause your food to stick. From personal experience I've found that Tefal are reasonably priced, good quality & various types to met all your cooking needs.
-
Knives - I use different types of knives whilst cooking but my best advise would be get yourself a knife block & you can't go wrong! I tend to stick with stainless steel but there are plenty of varities you can choose from. Click here for a really useful guide on Kitchen knives and all their uses.
-
Chopping Boards - These really dont have to be expensive, most of mine are from Asda or Ikea but I tend to stick to the rules of Green & Red. Green = Fruit & Veg, Red = Meat. If you are looking for quality the best range I have found Joseph Joseph.
-
Cupboard Essentials - There are certain ingridients which I see as being essential to having in your kitchen cupboards whether these are herbs & spices or fresh ingredients which tend to make the base or starting point for a lot of my recipes.
