My love for pasta is just ever growing!

I didnt think I could love pasta any more than I already do but you literally can have pasta every night but with something different and you'll never get bored.

I decided to have something a little different from my usual meat dishes. Now, I have a slight confession that when I started to make this meal it was meant to be with spaghetti but then I realised we didnt have any in the cupboard and no time to get anymore BUT do not worry (I didn't), I used penne pasta and let me tell you it was just as amazing. The beauty of most pasta dishes is that it doesnt matter what type of pasta you use.

Back to the matter at hand, last night I made this delicious prawn pasta, it's so simple to make and needing very little in the way of ingredients, you dont even need to chop anything up! This is great for those nights when you're in a rush and need to nip out or got home late and cant be bothered to cook!

If you look at this picture below, the aim is to actually not be left with a runny sauce but the chunks of tomatoes and a very thin layer of sauce over the pasta.

By using the fresh basil leaves instead of dried just excentrates the fresh flavours.

When cooking prawns always use Raw prawns (the grey ones) if you use the pink (already cooked) they shrink in size and become very hard and over cooked and you loose that lovely fish flavour.

You can of course by fresh or frozen, if they are frozen I would recommend buy a more quality brand only because in past experience I have foudn cheaper ones just to taste of salt water and this dish doesnt deserve to be ruined!!
